BOSQUE - Nov. 2010
Join us for the magic that is Bosque. Will start each day before sunrise photographing the thousands of snow geese and sand hill cranes blasting off from their overnight pond roosts. We start the Bosque experience at the ABQ airport heading straight to Socorro for our overnight accommodations then straight to Bosque. Bosque is famous for its 40,000 snow geese 12,000 sandhill cranes and 70,000 ducks that are wintering from October To February
The refuge is also the home to coyote, eagles, hawks, road runners and a significant array of assorted duck breeds. There are over 340 different species calling Bosque home.
Cheryl Opperman will be assisted by Doug and they will take you to all the best photo spots in the Bosque refuge moving about with the birds only leaving the refuge for lunch. We will accommodate no more than 3 to a vehicle to make moving about the refuge efficient and easy.
The close proximity to the sandhill cranes and snow geese makes for extraordinary photographic opportunities.
